Roughly a quarter of those properties were in Texas which saw the most hailstorms in 2020. <strong>Here is a quick list of the top 10 states for hailstorms in 2020:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Texas \u2013 601 hailstorms<\/li><li>South Dakota \u2013 377 hailstorms<\/li><li>Kansas \u2013 341 hailstorms<\/li><li>Oklahoma \u2013 341 hailstorms<\/li><li>Nebraska \u2013 313 hailstorms<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Minnesota \u2013 268 hailstorms<\/li><li>North Dakota \u2013 226 hailstorms<\/li><li>Missouri \u2013 200 hailstorms&nbsp;<\/li><li>Colorado \u2013 168 hailstorms<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Hailstorms and Homeowners Insurance<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gethomeinsurancequotes.com\/faqs\/what-is-homeowners-insurance.php\">standard homeowner insurance policy<\/a> may cover wind and hail damage depending on which insurance company and state you live in.
